An apple a day...

This painting is 5 x 5 oil on panel (gesso ampersand). $30.00 Day 2 of Carol Marine’s workshop. Our assignment for this painting was to paint an object by loading a paint brush with a color and making a brushstroke, we had to load the brush with a different color. Every brushstroke is a slightly different color. It was a good exercise. It was hard.

What a great workshop that must be! You made great strides on this simple apple. I can almost taste it, and the complementary green of the background is postively inspired. Just lovely!

I love it! Wow- I didn't get to see your cool paintings at the workshop- you were on the other side of the room. Love your juicy paint!

I was lucky enough to be painting next to Deborah and enjoy her process. I have so much respect for you talent. And.. what a FUN three days.
