I would not have picked this subject myself but it is this week's different strokes for different folks challenge. Website on the right hand side under "my blogs". A different picture is posted every two weeks and all different artists will draw or paint the image. They are all posted under each other in this blog. This week was definitely a challenge. My image is 5 x 5. Oil on panel. It's a lot of fun to see how other artists interpret the same image differently.

You have one of the best versions so far for my taste. This palette makes it look like a castle in Europe, and I like your cropping/composition. Great job.
The challenges of DSFDF do stretch us .I haven't even started mine. You did a great job.
