Today I plein air painted at Barton Springs Pool. I titled this painting the "path less traveled by" as I was the only one not painting the pool! The crape myrtles are in full bloom now and I had to capture it. 8 x 8. Oil on panel.
It's a little dark as I was painting in the shade. I think I will lighten the back ground up a bit.

I really like this one. Especially the light/shadow contrast and the bark on the crepe myrtles.
