We were out at an art slumber party. Due to the weather, we didn't get a lot of painting accomplished. However, crucial art topics were discussed. This is a group of artists that I went on a painting trip to France in 2008. This summer we are going to Italy to paint!

6 x 8. Oil on Panel. This is a plein air painting I did earlier this week. I went out with some of my fellow artist friends to Hancock Rec Center. It was a beautiful day!

DPW Challenge - Help Japan

The theme of the challenge was "home". I was born in Austin and after high school I moved away and didn't come back to Austin until several years ago. Austin is always my home and always will be. I painted the Capital Building of Austin. Capital of Texas. My State.

Art at Brazilia Waxing Spa

If you have a chance, stop by Brazilia Waxing Spa to see a wall of my Art. It is located at 34th and Guadalupe. Thanks to my husband, sister and Brother-n-law we hung this artwork yesterday by wire. No nails in the wall. It took FOREVER. It was worth it.

A Bike in Provence

16 x 20. Oil on Canvas. I took this photo in Provence in 2008. I knew someday I would paint it. I've been working on this painting this week. I have a few more things to do on it.

Max - touch up

Oh, Max... I did some touch ups on Max and tried to take a better photo. Photographing art is an art in itself. I never looks as good as the original painting.
